Daniel Mizrahi started Open Hand Remodeling to provide the community with an excellent home remodeling and renovation service. The company has since thrived based upon customer testimonials and continual referrals. Open Hand Remodeling has since dedicated a portion of their time and money, giving back to the Greater Los Angeles Community.
As an active partner, Daniel Mizrahi donates a portion of every project back into the community helping to create programs designed to flourish and nurture positive growth in our communities youth. The Heart of Los Angeles or HOLA has helped children become inspired with after school projects designed to spark creativity, teamwork and education. Above all, the Heart of Los Angeles community program is designed to help our youth thrive and learn in a safe environment.
Because of the success of Open Hand Remodeling, Daniel has been able to provide the Heart of Los Angeles program with continual donations. He has become a well respected member because of his ability to contribute time and money. Many businesses today are based upon profits alone, however this company not only improves the look of the community but helps to provide funding for socialized programs that are not available from the local government. If you are interested in helping to contribute or join the Heart of Los Angeles, or enrolling your kids in the after school programs please visit their website today.

I’m starting mine this week—-new cabinets and bathroom vanities, alder wood, doulbe faced door panels with arched tops. Samsung Staron countertops in kitchen and bathrooms with intergrated bowls. New floors and carpets in home. remove popcorn ceilings , texture and paint. Can’t wait until its done and I pop that next beer when its over. New AC/Heater system was just done. Total budget 20K. (california is expensive)

Ain’t that the truth! The kitchen was pretty hideous before.

We are just finishing our remodel … Very similar to yours in the fact that we tore it down to the studs. Nice job on the tile work, especially around the window!

Thanks for the compliment and yes, my husband and I did all the work. The only thing we hired out was for putting in the gas lines for the stove and fireplace and we also had a plumber come in after we stripped every thing down to the studs and had him replace all of our old galvanized pipes and replace them with copper, so he only did the rough plumbing, we did the rest.

Excellent job. Looks very nice. Did you do all the work yourself?

It’s called Meganite, it is a solid surface countertop just like Corian. Generally they have to be installed by a certified installer, but we did it ourselves, it’s not that hard.

What kind of countertops are those?
